Bellingham Family Garden
This residence in Bellingham needed an upgrade from the original builder's solutions for the family's outdoor space. The deck was too small and kept you from feeling a part of the garden. The plan called for removing part of the deck to get down onto a stone dining terrace and outdoor living room area with plantings surrounding it. A walkway around the house leads to a new area of the garden created by pushing back a rockery retaining wall. This area is secluded with new privacy plantings and includes a hot tub and sauna. Plantings were arranged to fit in with some lovely existing cedar trees. A new stone plinth was added at the existing front steps to help balance the entry experience.
